- Create a safe and supportive environment for all children and young people who attend our clinic or access services through outreach or Telehealth
- Listen to children and young people, take their worries, opinions and ideas seriously, and respond respectfully
- Support families and carers by being clear, transparent, and responsive if concerns are raised.
- Respect diversity and strive to be inclusive and safe for all children, including Aboriginal children, children with disability, children from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds, and LGBTIQA+ children and young people
- Never be racist towards anyone at Keystone Psychology and report any instances of racism we become aware of
- Maintain clear professional boundaries and child-safe behaviour expectations for all team members
- Uphold the rights of the child and always prioritise what is in their best interests
- Use safe recruitment and screening practices, including Police and Working With Children Checks
- Identify and report risks to child safety in our physical spaces and in online/Telehealth services and promptly take actions to ensure the child or children are safe
- Respect the privacy of children and their families, including keeping all personal information confidential unless required by the law or our Psychology Code of Conduct
- All comply with relevant Australian and Victorian legislation, our Psychology Code of Conduct and APS Code of Ethics, as well as our child safe policies and procedures including our Code of Conduct which sets clear expectations for how all workers at Keystone Psychology behave when engaging with children and young people, to support safe participation in our service
